Our Doctoral School has been accredited pursuant to Decision no. 2008/3/VII/2/019 of the Hungarian Accreditation Committee. Based on the compliance verification procedure, the doctoral school’s right to award degrees extends to the field of economics and business.

Decision no. 2009/7/XIII/2/209 of the Hungarian Accreditation Committee reinforces the accreditation of the doctoral school until 31 December 2014, subject to the continuous provision of the conditions of operation.

Decision no. 2016/9/X/20/2/1054 of the Hungarian Accreditation Committee reinforces the accreditation of the doctoral school until 31 December 2019, subject to the continuous provision of the conditions of operation.

The research area of the Doctoral School builds on the traditions of its legal predecessor (topics of agribusiness, macro- and microeconomics, and rural development), and therefore, in a broader sense, the doctoral school operates in the fields of business/management/organisation sciences.

A wide range of international and domestic institutional relationships ensures the high-quality development of selected research topics. In addition to those with full-time state-financed status, there is a possibility each year also for a significant number of correspondence students to enrol, in the framework of which experts of various social and business organisations may also apply.
